Straw Poll Season

The straw poll season has begun and right out of the gate it is chaos for GOP. Herman Cain that is right the Godfather Pizza guy no one is talking about, barley speaks in the debate has pulled off the shocking upset victory in Florida’s Presidency Straw Poll. Cain received 37 percent of the vote for the victory. The news was not all bad for the filed as after another bad display and shaky campaign Perry still grabbed second with fifteen percent of the vote. The good news for Mitt Romney was he took 14 percent meaning he was closer to Perry that early prediction had showed. Romney, did not even try in Florida which is also bad news for Perry who actively campaigned for the straw poll. Santorum actually pulled in fourth with eleven percent of the vote. Paul finished fifth with ten percent. The also rans of the GOP Florida straw poll we Gingrich, Huntsman, and Bachmann came away all with less than ten percent. The attention turns now to Michigan, where Republicans attending the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference will cast votes in another straw poll. Which is good because this will only light a fire under the lame stream media to make more out of the numbers than they appear to be?
